About the event

PSA UK Cultural Day 2026 is a flagship celebration of the heritage, diversity, and enduring spirit of Plateau State, Nigeria, bringing together families, community leaders, creatives, professionals, and stakeholders from across the UK and beyond. Guided by the theme “Heritage in Motion: Preserving Plateau, Powering Tomorrow,” the event honours our cultural roots while showcasing how culture continues to shape identity, creativity, leadership, and future opportunity.
The programme features powerful traditional performances, including the highly acclaimed Asharuwa dancers of the Afizere people (Jos East Local Government Area), a vibrant Children’s Cultural Fashion Parade, A major highlight is our Digital Heritage Program and the Plateau Museum of Design & Culture (PMDC), an interactive installation featuring short films, oral histories, design archives, QR‑enabled storytelling, and a digital heritage wall.
It’s one of the first diaspora‑led models in the UK to blend culture + technology + community engagement in this way.
